I know — this is the epitome of small talk. When you meet somebody, you’re probably going to talk about the weather.

Whether you like it or not, it’s something that is going to come up. Especially if you’re going someplace new — you want to know what the weather is like.

Is it hot? Is it cold?

This might help you pack correctly, for example.

Let’s learn how to ask that.

For this exercise, just repeat the Spanish and English versions out loud to grasp the vocab.

Let’s practice saying how the weather is in a certain place.  Repeat the audios out loud.

Let’s get started!

¡Empecemos!

Hace calor It’s hot
Hace mucho calor It’s very hot
Hace un poco de calor It’s a little hot
Hace frío It’s cold
Hace mucho frío It’s very cold
Hace un poco de frío It’s a little cold
